Processed Confusion

The word "processed" can cause a lot of confusion.

Most of the foods we eat are processed in some way. Apples are cut from trees, salads chopped and washed, Smoothies blended and mixed.But there is a huge difference between mechanical processing and chemical processing.If it's a single ingredient food or natural wholefoods with no added chemicals, then it doesn't matter if it's been ground , blended , chopped or put into a jar. It's still real food.However, foods that have been chemically processed and made from refined ingredients and artificial substances, and a list of unpronounceables, these are what is known as processed food. These are not real food. These are a hazard to your health and well-being.
